#LondonIsOpen: International Visit to Europe

54 companies flew the flag of collaboration in Berlin, Paris & Madrid in March 2017

Led by the Deputy Mayor for Business, Rajesh Agrawal, the Mayor's International Business Programme took 54 London based companies to Berlin, Paris & Madrid to showcase that #LondonIsOpen to collaboration with Europe.

Mayor of London, Sadiq Khan, said: "Our relationships with our European neighbours and partners are more important than ever before and, regardless of Brexit, we will continue to work closely together for our mutual benefit.

London will remain one of the best places in the world in which to grow a global business - we are Europe's largest tech hub and one of the world's leading global financial centres.

I am delighted to be joined by so many fantastically innovative companies from my International Business Programme on this visit. London owes its reputation as a hub of trade and commerce, aspiration and imagination to creative and enterprising people like them.

Even though Britain voted to leave the EU, London will remain a European City - welcoming European citizens and forging new relationships with cities and nations to tackle the biggest shared challenges we face."
