International Visit to Atlanta

The Mayor of London's International Business Programme is proud to present the first Financial Technology (FinTech) mission to Atlanta

The Mayor's International Business Programme and the Metro Atlanta Chamber of Commerce are taking a 3-day trade mission to Atlanta including corporate visits, mentor meetings, and attending the first FinTech South conference hosted by the Technology Association of Georgia (TAG).

Georgia is the third leading FinTech cluster in the US, after New York and California. 6 of the 10 largest US payment processing firms are based in Georgia. Over 250,000 Atlantans work in Finance, and 30,000 work specifically in FinTech. Atlanta also ranks third among US cities with the most Fortune 500 headquarters.

London is a dynamic and diverse city with a thriving business, financial services and tech community. The city has been deemed the number one global financial centre (GFCI) and is Europe’s most valuable tech ecosystem, at $44bn.

Our companies, representing the strength of London’s FinTech talent and innovation, will explore business partnerships, connections and deals in Payments and Financial Services.  We look forward to meeting with key corporates and leaders locally to collaborate further and explore the opportunities across our great cities, and to show that London is open for business #LondonIsOpen
